Our Reindeer Hides are sourced from the Arctic regions of Finland, where reindeer farming is a way of life passed down through the generations. In Lapland, the indigenous Sámi people still use every part of the reindeer for food, clothing, and decoration. Every hide we sell is a by-product of the food industry — nothing goes to waste.

Scandinavian reindeer fur is made up of hollow hairs, giving it remarkable natural warmth. Draped over a favourite chair, laid beside your bed, or taken along on a camping trip, a reindeer hide brings a touch of wild Nordic luxury wherever it goes. Many of our customers use them as throws, seat covers, tent linings — even festival companions.

A Living Product

These hides tell a story. Reindeer roam free across the Arctic wilderness, and you may notice the odd battle scar, a small hole, or a patch of shorter fur. Far from being flaws, these natural markings are part of what makes each hide so beautifully authentic. As with all deep-pile natural products, some shedding is to be expected.
